What is the coverage area?

The coverage area is Farragut Square, not the neighborhood.  However, you may be able to get access from surrounding blocks.

Who are the sponsors of the project?

The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District is the sponsor of the project. 

What kind of security is set up at the hotspot?

We highly encourage users to take every precaution necessary when using a public hotspot such as:

• Using a Personal Firewall
• Do not visit sites the require sensitive information such as online banking websites
• Having anti-spyware and anti-virus software loaded on your device

How much bandwidth is available?

6 mega bits per second is available to the project.  However, performance can vary depending on weather, number of users, and traffic on surrounding access points.

What if the hotspot isn’t available or is having technical difficulties?
