Getting people to and from the Golden Triangle continues to be critical to the Golden Triangle BID’s mission of creating a welcoming neighborhood and to the vitality of greater downtown DC.  Nowhere is the BID’s support of transportation initiatives more apparent than on the streets.

From its support of traffic aides at busy intersections to multi-space parking meters and metered loading zones, the Golden Triangle BID remains committed to working with partners like the Department of Public Works (DPW) and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) on improving mobility in the central business district.

When it comes to getting around greater downtown, the Circulator bus continues to be the best deal in town.  Supported in part by the BID, the Circulator bus helps improve traffic flow through the K Street corridor and other downtown streets as it carries workers, area residents and tourists to and from the Golden Triangle.

In addition to the Circulator, the Golden Triangle also benefits from a strong transportation infrastructure that includes three Metro stations and two major corridors—K Street and Connecticut Avenue—located within the neighborhood.

Universal parking signs, wayfinding signage and downtown transportation web site www.goDCgo.com are just some of the other programs and projects the BID supports to ease and improve navigation in the Golden Triangle.
